Over the past few years  Davido  and  Wizkid  have been the go-to artistes when their colleagues when to remix their songs. If the two aren’t the ones on a remix, then a rapper is usually the man or Tiwa Savage. With Davido scoring yet another remix with Orezi’s latest single Shuperu and Wizkid having a barren music moment, we take a look at the past remixes the two have made so y’all can judge who is a better hit maker when it comes to remixing an original song. 1) Ice Prince – Sarkodie, Mercy Johnson,  Wizkid , Ice Prince, M.I & Khuli Chana – Aboki (Remix) Ice Prince listed Wizkid on the remix of the superstar remix of his single Aboki. Wizkid laid his verse on the record and it enjoyed a decent airplay. His verse came second on the song after Sarkodie. How did the song fair? Did  Wizkid  transform the song to a hit? New Jersey rapper Willie Maxwell better known as  Fetty Wap  is planning to feature  Davido , Wizkid  and  Ice Prince  on the “afro remix” of his 2014 smash  “Trap Queen” . Davido whose sophomore album is expected in months took to his Instagram to share the news by posting a video of Fetty confirming the collaboration. Watch the clip after the cut. At the time of reporting, we cannot confirm if the anticipated track has been recorded of if it will get a video treatment. The original track peaked at number 2 on the United States Billboard Hot 100. The track would mark the first collaboration between chart rivals Davido and Wizkid.

It is old news Sarkodie enlisted American rapper Ace Hood for his track titled “New Guy”, the music video for the collaboration has reportedly been shot. Nonetheless when Sark returned to Ghana from the U.S, he was interviewed by Celebrity TV and he reveavled how Ace Hood and his management approached him for the collaboration. The rap titan when on to say Ace Hoods biggest fan base which is the United States Of America, his second biggest fan base was Ghana; and this facilitated the collaboration. Mavins Records boss, Don Jazzy has disclosed that Mavin Records had it rough in the early days. Speaking during the group’s recent trip to Ghana where he led his team to the 5th edition of ‘Tigo Ghana Meets Naija Concert’ said: ‘The first year was really bad. In the first year, we released about a hundred songs, 92 exactly but people didn’t want to hear them.’ Speaking further about the label, which is now home to recording artists like Tiwa Savage, Dr SID, D’ Prince, Di’Ja, Reekado Banks and Korede Bello, the respected producer and label exec said: ‘We put out a lot of work but maybe some people didn’t hear it or maybe it was bad or maybe we were not emotionally at the right place and then the music wasn’t right. But then at some point, I think God heard our prayers.’ The label was founded by Don Jazzy in 2012, following the disbandment of Mo’ Hits Records, a record label co-owned by the producer and former partner, D’banj.
